Shooting WWU sports procession felt official

January 26, 2017

Shooting WWU Women's Soccer National Champs mini-parade was a very enriching experience. I felt like a real photographer. I'm excited about the potential of this career, even in the face of alternate-facts world.

I learned to use shutter speed to capture motion. I learned to improve my backlit shots. I got better in general at shooting on the fly. I felt as though I gained more pro photo skills in these ten minutes than any other.

The WWU women won DII at the national level. Couldn't resist this.

 Lens flare. Not always effective.
