In Their Element

Our environmental portrait assignment followed naturally from the previous ones. I actually met a subject for this project on the icebreaker assignment. Emily is in this park all the time anyway, so we later set up a portrait session.

I think Emily's portrait works especially well since she frequents the park so often and feels so comfortable there. The contrasting pink jacket was a lucky touch.

Nolan's portrait had a personal connection for me, but the background isn't quite as compelling. I do like it better now that Ive just noticed Guinness framed in the rear wheel. :)
